The team returned to Minnesota for the highest ranked NRC race on the year, the Nature Valley Grand Prix. The event is invitation only, and for an amateur team to just take the start is an achievement for the week. But this team is not about just being at the race, and as we have all year, we focused on being part of the race, taking chances to put BikeReg.com / Cannondale representation in the moves that defined the race.
We were once again fabulously hosted by Connie and Steve Green in uptown Minneapolis. She had prepared 3 LARGE tupperware bins of monster cookies for us...none of which survived the week. The Green's really define the Midwestern charm and hospitality you really can't find anywhere else, and we are lucky to have their standing invitation for the race (which, of course, they said is good anytime not just the race).
