It was nice to be back on the bike racing after finally taking a midseason break.  I wasn't sure how I was going to feel after taking 10 days almost completely off the bike, but it turned out in my favor on this day.  Justin covered just about every move that went up the road.  I tried to help as much as possible, giving him a lead out to bridge across to one of the breaks.  However, everything eventually came back together with about 6 laps to go.

I noticed that Eneas Frye tried to attack and strung out the field.  I positioned myself to give it a go and attacked with one other CCB rider.  We maintained a good gap for the next few laps until Eneas Frye and 2 others bridged across making it into a 5 man group.  I then chose to sit on the break until the finish noting that it would either stay away and I could win or that it would come back together and I work with Justin.  I knew Eneas didn't want it to come back and my gamble payed off.  I jumped as hard as I could go the last time up the hill and I had the gap I needed to cruise in ahead of the rest of the race.
