Jamey was 32 seconds out of first place to stage the fourth stage, but he was only four seconds out of second with two 8 second mid-race time bonuses and a 15 second time bonus on the line for the winner. The team took control of the race early and began to dictate the pace in the second lap. Before he could make any effort to improve upon or hold his place, Jamey was crashed out on the fourth lap of the race in the bottom corner and was fortunate to not need more medical attention than 5 stitches in his right calf.
The race progressed with the Eric wrapping up the points competition. He narrowly saved a crash in the second to last lap and finished in the field, but I was very impressed with how the team rode throughout the race. They set the tone that everybody else followed. They undoubtedly proved why they are the best team in the region and contenders in any race they enter.
