After a brief detour through the historic parts of Québec City, the BIkeReg.com / Cannondale team arrived at a park along the St. Lawrence River, eager to contest the first of two stages that day.
The Tour de Québec's Stage Two ITT was a fast, straight-forward affair: a relatively flat 5 km along the St. Lawrence River and Québec City's Champlain Boulevard, with a stiff tailwind. Conditions on the day resulted in some blazingly fast times, with two BikeReg.com / Cannondale riders in the top 5: after making the decisive break on stage one, BikeReg.com/Cannodale's Alister Ratcliff and Josh Dillon turned in nearly identical times of 5:41:47 and 5:41:71, respectively, further solidifying their role as GC contenders.
